Welcome

SASSY is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization located in DeKalb County Georgia that is supported by parents, guardians, caregivers, members, and the community. We exist to enhance the lives of youth and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities - "Super Special People". 

At SASSY we are dedicated to helping Super Special Youth and Adults to be recognized for their unique strengths and contributions without regard to their individual challenges.  

The South DeKalb Association for Super Special Youth & Adults, Inc. (SASSY)  was formed in 1996 by seven families in an endeavor to fill a void in services specific to South DeKalb County's special needs community. These families sought to provide programs and resources for the youth, adults,  and their parents, guardians and caregivers. 

 Through a broad range of recreational and socialization programs SASSY helps individuals of all abilities reach their full potential. SASSY believes that everyone deserves to become their personal best and live life to the fullest. 

The generosity of our members and the community of supporters equips SASSY with the means to proffer necessary resources to persons with intellectual and physical challenges. Together, with your support, SASSY continues to help "Super Special People" and their families grow in a positive and rewarding way.
